Sapphire is the quietest and most emotional work in the Stargazers collection.

She is painted in deep blue, with silver details that feel like moonlight moving across water. Her heart appears to melt or break open, and silver tears fall from her eyes.

But this piece is not only about sadness. The silver swallows bring lightness into the work. They feel like movement after grief, like something being released, like the first sign that the heart can become lighter again. Sapphire holds both sorrow and hope. She is still in the night, but she is not trapped there.
