The Sun was born from the same night as the rest of Stargazers.

When the moon was bright enough to cast shadows, I kept thinking about the hidden source of that light. Somewhere on the other side of the world, the sun was still burning strongly enough to reflect back through the moon.

This portrait carries that idea: not daylight, but the memory of the sun inside the night. Gold rays move across her face like reflected fire. She belongs to the same darkness as the others, but her energy is warmer, stronger, and more direct.

This is the original artwork - the one-of-one painting, hand-finished with gold foil and signed by Polina. It carries the marks and details that exist in this piece alone.
